We
went to the luau
at The Sheraton and had a fantastic
time and the food was terrific. We then were supposed
to go on the 4
Winds snorkeling to Molokinithe following morning. They got the reservation
mixed up but it was fine as the weather was very, very
windy. We went horseback
riding at The
Mendez Ranch and it was terrific being
able to run the horses instead of riding them like they're
mules. The only problem was that it was very very dusty,
so much so we were completely covered from head to toe
when we returned, but it couldn't be helped because
he hadn't rained in awhile. We then went to Molokini
and had a terrific time. Thanks so much. Karen Douglass RETURN
I
took a trip to Maui on Sunday, May 13, 2007 through
Roberts
Hawaiitours. When we arrived to Maui our bus driver was
late and did not pick us up for approximately 30 minutes.
Our bus driver/tour guide, Herman, was very friendly
and very knowledgeable about the island, however I did
feel that there was a lot of unnecessary commentating
with the tour. Too much talking. I also did not like
the fact that there wasn't a clear itinerary indicating
how long we would be stopping at the designated locations.
I was disappointed that so much time was spent on the
bus. I was hoping to be out walking more with a little
more freedom. Overall, I was disappointed with the length
and quality of the tour. It was just not what I had
envisioned. Thank you for considering my input. Kelley Gantner RETURN
The
luau
at Black Cliffwas good. Did not
see any cliff divers. Not sure if we missed it or not.
We were on time. It was still as good time and the food
was yummy. Not like most dinner and show buffets. Tricia Trotta RETURN
SUNRISE
BIKE TOUR(MEAL INCLUDED) Maui Mountain
Riders. This was an excellent adventure for those of us
who can bike. We had a great time with the group of nurses
from Boston that accompanied us on the tour. Their humor
was better than the guides. The guides were young. The driver
of the van, Daniel, could use some more training on how
to pull a trailer and pay attention to the road a little
better. Travis, our biking guide, was very good. I would
like to suggest that all biking companies have their guides
take first-aid courses and know how to apply what is taught.
Also, each group should be equipped with a basic first-aid
kit. The tour in front of us had an accident. That guide
was practically useless and did not know what to do with
the injured person. Our guide at least knew that 911 needed
to be called. Thankfully, the nurses in our group and a
doctor from the other group knew what to do and thankfully,
I traveled with a blanket and so did another in our group.
We both needed and did donate them to the victim in hopes
to keep her from going into shock before the ambulance arrived. Patricia and Bob Possel RETURN My
sister and I recently spent time on the Islands as you know,
the activity we enjoyed the most was our kayak and snorkel
tour (Introductory
Kayak/Snorkel), our guide John
was GREAT! he knew right where to take us to snorkel, we
saw a lot of turtles, sea urchins, and a small octopus,
he was very informative, and made sure every one was having
a good time. In all the tours we took this was the best!!!
Linda Staley RETURN I
wasn't expecting to be covered from head to toe in dirt
at the end of the tour (3hr
ATV Tour). I probably would not do it
again. However, I did get to see some deer unexpectedly
and wonderful views. I'm sure the men wouldn't mind though
and they would enjoy it much more. Lisa Monahan RETURN
