Here what our guests had to say about Kauai       ZiplineTours   Kipu Falls Zipline Safari was a great tour. the hike on private grounds and through the lush trees was so cool. the tour guides were very informative and entertaining as they "told story" of local legends and history of kauai. the kayak tour of the fish pond and river was cool; and the scenery just breathtaking. the Zipline was fun - wish it was longer though - a full day of entertainment, exercise, and sights made the whole trip really worthwhile. Ferdi RETURN   My son and I went on the NORTH SHORE KAUAI JUNGLE VALLEY ADVENTURE. We both had a great time, and the guides were excellent. We really enjoyed the kayaking. My son's comment was that it felt like he was in an Indiana Jones movie. My only regret was that we didn't get to do more zip lining. I wanted to video my zip across the ravine, but didn't feel confident carrying my camera until I had alreay gone. I felt two zips were not enough. I think that we could have easily fit in four trips across the zip lines instead of just the two. But, again, we had a great time, and my son and I will have a lifetime of memories. Jeffrey RETURN The Backcountry zip line tour was awesome. the guides were competent and informative as well as approachable and personable. We enjoyed that part of our trip a great deal and look forward to doing it again on future trips. Wil RETURN   The Zip and Dip was an awesome experience. My wife and I had so much fun sliding across the zip line high above the trees and streams below. The guides were great and started off with a couple fairly short and not so high runs to get everyone comfortable before doing the real "good" ones. I would recommend it to anyone and can't wait to go back and do it again. Lorin RETURN The zip and dip was outrageous! Definetly the most memorable thing the kids and I did! Despite my fear of heights, after the "bunny slope" I was hooked (and I am a 53 y/o chicken!) Our guides were very safety conscious, took their time with those of us who had a case of nerves in the beginning and had a wonderful sense of humor. We had so much fun and are really pleased that we took the zip 'n' dip tour! We did a lot of activities while in Kauai and we found that the zip 'n' dip was the most exciting activity that we did! Adele RETURN I was able to convince my boyfriend and sister to come with me on the Zip n Dip. My sister is scared of heights but she had a great time. We all had a great time. We flew over from Maui just to do this. The guides were GREAT, the scenery awesome. Definitely was beyond our expectations. Marc RETURN My two teen-age children did the backcountry zipline tour. The scenary was beautiful and the tour operators were great. They also enjoyed chatting with the guests.They loved the experience and would definitely participate during the next Hawaii trip. Sue RETURN   We did the afternoon Zipline Trek tour and kipu falls swim!!! it was FANTASTIC!! It was our first time zipping and what an experience. Talk about conquering some fears!!! We'd do it again!!! The guides were very helpful, patient and accommodating to everyone that was on the afternoon tour. Baron RETURN My husband and I went on the Zipline Adventure tour with Backcountry outfitters. Our guides were Pono and Sherell. What was a little disappointing in the area of the ziplining, was totally made up for by the guides. Pono was full of information about the area, the land, the people, legends, just fun stuff. We were the only ones from our incentive trip that took this option, and we left Kaua'i with more information than any other couple. I would definately recommend this tour to anyone that would like to spend time in a back, unaccessible Kaua'i area. Debbie RETURN We thought that the Princeville ranch Zip and dip was great. The entire trip was a blast from beginning to end. Great guides and course. great lunch and a great dip in the swimming hole. I will do it again when I get back that way. Lots of fun, a nice outdoor hike setting, and our only complain was that the time flew by too fast! I highly recommend this to anyone, it's far more fun than scary. Randy RETURN  We went on the Backcountry Zipline tour and absolutely loved it. We only wished there were less people on the tour and longer ziplines just so we could zip over and over (we're selfish). Overall, the tour guides (Sherell and Grant) were wonderful and hilarious! Carmen RETURN  We recently attended the Backcountry Zipline tour. The guides were great, the prices were high, and it was a lot of fun. I would recomend it to anyone traveling to Kaua'i. If we get a chance to travle back to Kaua'i I will try to attend the tour again. However if the Princeville one is close to the same price I would be curious about trying that one too. We were also so grateful to be able to experience this day trip together as a family. With our the diversity of our children's ages, (12, 9, & 2) we were so grateful to have been able to all experience this exciting adventure together, and not have to try to find babysitting for our 2 year old. (Who by the way, was easily managed and loved the whole day.) This was the perfect all inclusive trip to experience Kauai. We ALL LOVED IT!!! Michelle RETURN I did the Zip Express tour in Kauai up in Princeville. It was raining for 75% of it, but we still had a blast. The guides were friendly and attentive, exactly what you need when you're trying something new. They kept things fun for everyone in spite of the rain and the wait (between each zip). Yee RETURN   Aloha! We went on the Kauai Backcountry Adventures Zip line and it was AWESOME! We had 2 wonderful guides and a great driver. They were very patient and helpful and made the adventure truly special for us. I wasn't as scared as I was thinking I might be even at first because of their take-charge attitude and that went away after one or two zip lines. Laura RETURN   We had an amazing time on the Safari Zip-line Tour (April 10, 2007). Not only were the actual activities a blast, the tour guides (Pete and Kahau (spelling?) were hilarious! We highly recommend this tour for everyone, our kids; 18, 16 and 8 all had a great time. One tip, make sure and bring LOTS of bug spray! The Hennessy Family RETURN Kauai Zip Line Safari out of Poipu - We kayaked, hiked through jungle, zip-lined, hiked through more jungle, rode through the ranch, hiked through more jungle and swam at Kipu falls, rode through the ranch and hiked more jungle then rode a boat back to where we started. It was fun, informative, exciting and strenuous and relaxing all at the same time.I would do it again. Maybe more zip-line. Cindy RETURN We did the zip line tour that included 8 zip lines in Princeville...It was "pricy" but enjoyable...There is allot of waiting for other "zippers" to go...If there was a way to lessen the waiting time, like having attendants posted at each station, ready to hook and send the "zippers", it would be great...We also did the tubing near Lihue...Again, the activity was fun...We felt that it would have been perfect had we skipped the lunch and gone through the tunnels twice...Overall, we would probably not do either of these again even though we visit the Island every year....If we could get double the zips or tunnels with the tubes, we surely would be back each trip...Mahalo Steve RETURN Just a brief note to expess our sincere thank you to your crew for a great Jungle Adventure tour this afternoon, Monday, Jan. 14th.
