Kahanu is Hawaiian owned and operated by a long-time Kauai
'ohana (family).
Thirteen years
ago, Lani and Billy, started a catamaran tour business to the Na
Pali coast.
Their desire
was to find the most comfortable way to see the Na Pali coast. They
soon built Catamaran Kahanu.
In Hawaiian,
Kahanu means "the breath of life." The catamaran is blessed
with it's name from their great, great grandfather David Kahanu,
a Hawaiian landowner who fished Kauai's North shore.
Catamaran Kahanu
begins its fifteenth year in business and we have been fortunate
in sharing our knowledge of the "Na Pali" coast with visitors
from all over the world.
Our mission
is to provide our guests with a quality tour and an opportunity
to experience Kauai's Na Pali coast.
