The experience of watching 40+ foot and 40+ ton whales from a 24 foot Zodiac raft is something you will never forget! We do follow the laws of stopping 100+ yards away from these magnificant animals, but it is not uncommon for them to be curious about us and come right under the boat! Do not worry they are non-aggressive to us and our rafts do not intimidate them or scare them away. It is an adrenaline rush when we have those close encounters! The
zodiacs are the perfect craft for observing these animals.
Due to the sometimes bouncy nature of our ride, people with bad backs, older people who are frail, and children under 4 years old are not to take our tour. Also, we do not allow pregnant women on our tours. We
are located at the Honokohau Marina in Kona.
This
tour operates only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Every
dive is unique and you never know what

endangered sea turtles and wild dolphins, amongst the gorgeous

Hawaii

Pacific Humpback whales in their natural habitat.
Each
year, Humpback whales swim over 3500 miles from Alaska
to Hawaii, where they spend their winters mating and bearing
their young. Peak whale watching season begins in December
and continues through March.

the mother gives birth she is usually accompanied by an escort
and they will help the calf along while it learns to breathe,
swim and eat. The calves will generally start experimenting
their skills of breaching shortly after birth and that gives
us a lot of above the surface whale watching.

is our back yard! Our waters along the Kohala Coast are shallow
and protected from predators making this the prime location
for humpback whales to breed and have their babies during
