Snuba
is a wonderful way of introducing yourself to the beautiful Hawaiian waters of the Big
Island. Created for those who would
like to experience the wonders of breathing underwater, Snuba is a unique, patented shallow
water dive system, bridging the gap
between snorkeling and scuba diving.
Snuba
is safer and easier than Scuba and does not require
any certification. There are
no heavy tanks to carry. Snuba is easily accessible
to couples, families, children over eight (8) years
old, and seniors. For the kids ages
4-7, we have Snuba Doo, a flotation
vest with a regulator attached to the raft by way
of a 10 foot hose. They paddle along on the surface,
watching everyone below, but get to
stay with the rest of the family and be part of
the fun!
Beginners
are instructed in the proper use of the Snuba unit
and in a very short time you are enjoying the beauty
and serenity of the underwater world. The whole dive proceeds at your pace,
you do not let go of the Snuba raft or dive down
until you feel ready to do so nor do you have to
dive any deeper than you feel comfortable with.
Maximum depth is 25 feet.
What
to expect on your Snuba Tour:
After
being fitted for all the Snuba gear, your Snuba
guide will give you a complete yet brief orientation
followed by a practice session in shallow water.
When everyone is ready, you will be taken on a guided,
underwater tour. Your guide, who is
with you at all times, takes a maximum of six students
on each Snuba tour.

The
best of both worlds awaits your discovery when you experience
Snuba. Combining the ease of snorkeling and the excitement
of diving, Snuba is the safest and easiest way to explore
Hawaii’s underwater world without requiring any
certification. Snuba is a patented dive system connecting
you to an inflatable raft which follows you along the
surface supporting your air tank. After a simple 20
minute orientation you and your professional snuba instructor
are underwater discovering Hawaii’s beautiful
coral reefs, diving to a maximum depth of 25 feet. (Ages
8 and up).

CANCELLATION
POLICY: All actvities have a NO REFUND
POLICY for cancellations made within 48 hour period.
Unforseen emergencies and illness inside the 48 hour
period will not be refunded. However, we will gladly
try to accommodate these on a space available rescheduling
basis on another day.
WAIVER:All participants are
required to sign an acknowledgement of risk form (waiver)
as well as medical questioner for SNUBA.
MINIMUM
AGE: No babies or infants onboard vessel,
children must be able to sit upright on their own. Adult
supervision required under 12. Minimum age for SNUBA
is 8.
NO
EXPERIENCE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE: swimming
skills suggested for all participants.
WEATHER
CONDITIONS: Tours depart rain or shine.
Inclement weather conditions are usually temporary and
rain gear is provided. Cancellations due to weather
are extremely uncommon and all parties are instructed
to appear at the boat ramp no matter what the weather
seems to them.
